About Dr. Richard Wampold

Dr. Richard Wampold

After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry, Dr. Richard Wampold established his family dental practice in 1977. During his practice of more than thirty years he has kept up with the changing face of dentistry by regularly attending continuing education courses. These courses keep him up to date on the latest in advanced dental procedures. Although Dr. Wampold maintains that “the most important work I do is educating my patients about good oral health and hygiene”. In recent years his practice has grown in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry.  He adds “giving someone a beautiful smile that they are proud of has been the most rewarding part of my practice”.  He furthered his education at the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. 

Dr. Wampold also has over 300 continuing education hours directly pertaining to Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ). 

In the summer of 2011, Dr. Wampold traveled to Honduras where he performed dental procedures on the students who attend a boarding school in the city.
